The UNC Asheville Boxing & MMA Club stepped out of the gym and into a unique venue last weekend, holding an exhibition match inside the Asheville Mall. Athletes from Clemson, NC State and App State traveled to take on UNC Asheville’s fighters in the ring, bringing high energy and school spirit to a crowd of shoppers and supporters.
The event featured multiple bouts, each highlighting the growing talent and dedication within collegiate boxing. Spectators gathered along the mall to cheer on the fighters, creating a dramatic setting that combined the intensity of the sport with an everyday public space.
