Comita, who helped the TRU WolfPack win a national title in 2022, has one goal in 11 appearances this season for the Slovenian side.

With the help of agents, he is exploring options in Scandinavia, Italy, Albania and Canada — in the Canadian Premier League.
Playing in Italy has been a lifelong goal.
“It’s just the family history and living out the legacy for my family,” Comita said. “We’ve always spoken Italian and we’ve always loved to watch Italian football. The ultimate goal would be playing for Juventus. That’s our team. We’ll see if we can make that happen. You never know.”
Comita said he expects opportunities to play in the Italian fourth division will be available in the winter transfer window, but he is not convinced that league is a step up from the Slovenian second division.
“I have some teams that I’m looking at in third division in Italy,” Comita said.
Over three seasons with Gorica, Comita has two goals and seven yellow cards in 41 regular-season matches, logging nearly 3,000 minutes on the pitch.
“It’s been a great opportunity there,” Comita said. “I’m fortunate enough that the club paid for everything and gave me a decent salary. I’m still playing lots, but I want a new challenge, a new opportunity to see another place in the world and move forward, move upward.”
