Dallas +3 over DETROIT

It appears that supposed Cowboys defensive resurgence was vastly overrated. They had no chance of keeping up with the Lions attack and Jahmyr Gibbs looked unstoppable — though that’s not just a Cowboys problem.

Pittsburgh +6 over BALTIMORE

These teams are far from their best this season, but this is one of the most intense rivalries in sports and getting six points seems like a bargain.

Seattle -7 over ATLANTA

Not only does the Seahawks defence get to play target practice with Kirk Cousins, it also could be getting two key players back from injury. The offence just keeps on producing against mediocre teams, too.

CLEVELAND -4 over Tennessee

Myles Garrett should have a field day attacking Cam Ward, who has been sacked more than any QB this season. In what could be wintry conditions, the Browns running game can score a few points, too.

NEW YORK JETS +3 over Miami

It’s December, which means we’re not exactly thrilled to take Tua Tagovailoa as a road favourite in some potentially chilly weather.

TAMPA BAY -8.5 over New Orleans

The Bucs can see even more reinforcements coming over the horizon while the Saints just need to be thinking about next year already.

JACKSONVILLE +1.5 over Indianapolis

The Colts are coming back to earth after a stellar early season run and haven’t won in Jacksonville in years.

MINNESOTA -2 over Washington

Playing overtime in prime time is a big disadvantage for the Commanders, who were not certain will be able to perform on the road against a good Vikings defence.

Cincinnati +5.5 over BUFFALO

Joe Burrow is back and we’re not exactly buying that the Bills defence is going to be able to slow him down. This one could become a pretty fun shootout.

Denver -7.5 over LAS VEGAS

The Broncos only scored 10 points against the Raiders when they met on that wonky Thursday nighter, but since then Vegas’ spiral has continued, getting dominated their past three times out.

Chicago +6.5 over GREEN BAY

Both teams are fresh off some impressive holiday wins and while the Packers are the more talented squad, they can be inconsistent. Spotting almost a touchdown is a bit too rich for this rivalry game.

L.A. Rams -8 over ARIZONA

It may be more than a touchdown on the road against a division rival, but the Rams need a big bounce-back after getting upset in Carolina and should put a pounding on Arizona.

Houston +3.5 over KANSAS CITY

Both teams are in desperate need of a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, but the Texans might actually have the advantage here. Their defence has been on an incredible run while the Chiefs’ weaknesses continue to get exposed.

Philadelphia -3 over L.A. CHARGERS

It’s still uncertain as to whether Justin Herbert will play just a week after undergoing wrist surgery. Even if he does play, he’ll be limited and under pressure against the Eagles defence.
