The groups for the 2026 FIFA World Cup come into focus Friday in Washington, D.C. during the World Cup Draw.

Forty-eight teams will be drawn into 12 groups of four at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts on Friday, determining the matchups for the group stage of next year’s tournament held in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Those three countries will headline three separate groups, with Canada in Group B.
