In 2016, Adele’s rep confirmed she did not give him permission to use her song “Rolling In the Deep” at his rallies.
“Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning,” her spokesman told BBC at the time.
Beyonce – Rumored to Have Threatened a Cease & Desist
Beyoncé reportedly threatened a cease-and-desist to the Trump Campaign after the campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung posted a video using her song “Freedom.”
A source close to Beyoncé told Rolling Stone that she had not given permission to the Trump campaign to use her song, which was used in a 13-second video posted to X, of Trump getting off a plane in Michigan during his 2024 campaign.
