The conclusion of the third complete Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) season takes place this weekend in London, England, at Copper Box Arena. Seventeen players competed across three UTS events in 2025. Eight were invited to compete for a nearly two-million-dollar purse in London. But only four are left this Sunday. Who will claim victory?
Ultimate Tennis Showdown Grand Final Semifinal Predictions
Alex de Minaur vs Ugo Humbert
Head-to-Head: de Minaur 5-2 Humbert
Reigning champion Alex de Minaur is just two wins away from claiming another UTS title. The Aussie has played some great tennis this weekend, with his only loss coming in a tight battle against Rublev. Ugo Humbert, who has had his fair share of UTS success, advances to the Grand Final semifinals as the winner of Group B. Lefties are always tricky in this quick format, but I trust the Aussie to buckle down when it matters most.
Prediction: de Minaur in four quarters
Andrey Rublev vs Casper Ruud
Head-to-Head: Rublev 5-3 Ruud
2023 UTS champion Andrey Rublev cruised to a perfect 3-0 record in the group stage this weekend. However, things will heat up on Sunday when he squares off against ATP No. 12 Casper Ruud. The Norwegian has found success at UTS events, and this weekend has been no different. After an opening sudden death loss to Cerundolo, Ruud bounced back with trouncings of Goffin and Machac. He is playing confidently and has as good of a chance as anyone to win the title. This one will come down to the details, in which I trust Ruud to hold his nerve.
Prediction: Ruud in sudden death
