Alex Hunter provides his top golf bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational at Tiburon Golf Club.

The Grant Thornton Invitational will be played at the Gold Course (par 72, 7,382 yards, Bermuda greens) of Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida, this week. This is a 16-team tournament, with each squad featuring one player from the PGA TOUR and one player from the LPGA TOUR. The Gold Course has been the host of the Grant Thornton Invitational since the event’s inception three years ago and this venue has hosted the LPGA TOUR’s CME Group Tour Championship since 2013. This three-day event that begins Friday features three different formats. The first round will be scramble format, the second round will be alternate shot and the final round will be modified four-ball.

Below, I have featured my two favorite bets for the Grant Thornton Invitational on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Conners and Henderson nearly won the first two editions of this Grant Thornton Invitational and this Canadian pairing is a terrific bet to finally win this event. After finishing runner-up at the inaugural Grant Thornton Invitational by one stroke in 2023, Conners and Henderson finished fourth at this event last season, which was only three shots off the lead. Both these players are excellent drivers of the golf ball, ranking top-25 in driving accuracy on their tours and in addition to Conners and Henderson’s success at the Gold Course as a duo, Henderson has thrived at this track as an individual. The CME Group Tour Championship has been played at the Gold Course since 2013 and in 11 solo starts at this par 72, Henderson has carded six top-10 finishes, including a T-7 at the latest edition of this event just three weeks ago.

This marked the 28-year-old’s eighth straight made cut and all of these finishes have been top-30 results, most notably with her breakthrough win at the CPKC Women’s Open in August. Henderson is playing the best golf of her career right now and to complement her this week is Conners, who is fresh off a seventh-place finish at the Hero World Challenge last week, where he posted a 7-under 65 in the final round. Conners led this stacked field in SG APP and this marked his seventh top-10 finish in 22 starts in 2025. All in all, Conners and Henderson not being the favorite this week is surprising and they are a must-bet at this +800 price.

This pairing won last year’s Grant Thornton Invitational by one stroke, despite it being their first event as a team. Fast forward a year later and Tavatanakit is in the midst of a rock-solid season on the LPGA TOUR, making 18-of-22 cuts with seven top-25 finishes. Most recently, she just finished T-7 at the Gold Course for the CME Group Tour Championship three weeks ago, marking her best solo finish to date at the venue.

Knapp on the other hand hasn’t competed since August, but he flashed great upside to close out the season, making six of his final seven cuts and with two top-five finishes during this span. Knapp ranks 14th on the PGA TOUR in SGP and he and Tavatanakit should have a strong performance in their title defense this week.
