Update: This story has been updated with full the fighting game lineups for Evo 2026 and Evo Japan 2026 as they are announced along with the Evo Awards 2026 categories.

The largest fighting game tournament series in the world is of course going to be coming back for another year, and now we’ll get to see what their plans are under new ownership.

The 2026 Evo Announcement Show is set to take place tonight where they will reveal more information about the big events taking place all over the world.

Evo’s annual stream is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET though we don’t know how long it’s supposed to last.

This announcement show is going down quite a bit earlier than usual, which could be due to Evo 2026 itself taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada from June 26–28 instead of its usual August slot.

Organizers are set to reveal the fighting game lineups for both Evo 2026 and Evo Japan 2026 along with providing more information about the tournaments.

We should see some obvious staples returning like Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8 and Guilty Gear Strive, but it’ll be interesting to see what else will be included next year.

2XKO is another likely candidate along with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves being a shoe in though things get more murky beyond that.

The potential inclusion or exclusion of titles like Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and Invincible VS could point to their release dates being later than the big events.

They will also be providing information on the 2026 Evo Awards as well that is going down on March 28 next year.

This is also going to be the first year operating under Evo’s new ownership after Sony and RTS sold their controlling stakes in the fighting game tournament series.

Streaming for the 2026 Evo Announcement Show is being held on Evo’s Twitch and YouTube pages, and we’ll be updating this story with the full lineup of games as they’re revealed.
