An update has emerged regarding the identity of the mystery WWE star who invaded the December 8 episode of Monday Night Raw.
The biggest ongoing mystery on WWE television heading into the end of the year relates to the identity of The Vision’s masked helper, who invaded both the WarGames Match at Survivor Series and this past Monday’s WWE Raw.
While reports following Survivor Series revealed that absent WWE star Austin Theory was under the mask at Survivor Series, the identity of whoever donned the mask on Monday is currently unknown.
With noticeable differences between the physique of the Survivor Series assailant and the star who appeared on WWE Raw, fans speculated that Montez Ford played the role on Monday’s show.
However, speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez confirmed that Ford was not under the mask on Raw:
“On Monday another mystery man showed up and it was not Austin Theory… Everybody concluded that the new mystery man was Montez Ford.
“I can tell you right now, I don’t know who the mystery man was on Monday, but I was told specifically it was not Montez Ford.”
