The Montreal Canadiens organization had a wonderful initiative for the team’s current trip.

This is the “Mentors Trip,” where all the players on the team have the opportunity to be accompanied by a mentor or by someone who has marked their journey. We love it!

For example, Arber Xhekaj is accompanied by his sister, while Cole Caufield is accompanied by his brother:

Well, fittingly, captain Nick Suzuki is also accompanied by a very special person.

Joey Hishon, now 34 years old, was indeed a 5-foot-10, 175-pound center. Drafted in the first round by the Colorado Avalanche in 2010 (17th overall), he collected 2 points in 13 career NHL games. In junior, he recorded 87 points in 50 games (37 goals) and 40 points in 36 games (16 goals) in his final two seasons.

It’s truly great to see, and we wish the Canadiens a strong road trip and a solid performance tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
