Rein in that deer!

A screaming deer broke into a Christmas store in Tennessee and ran buck wild before it got its head stuck in a chair and had to be rescued by local police, chaotic video shows.

The burglar burst into Gabriel’s Christmas and More in Jonesborough early Friday morning and enjoyed a “grand tour” of the holiday shop before it was escorted out by his hind legs, according to the Jonesborough Police Department.

“Once inside, he took a grand tour: sniffed the ornaments, inspected the garland, side-eyed a nutcracker, and galloped around like he was trying to remember where he parked the sleigh,” police quipped in a Facebook post.

The department joked that the deer needed to “lay off the eggnog” and was “clearly three sips too deep into the Holiday Spirits and making terrible life choices.”

Video shows police officers responding to the festive store — about 60 miles north of Asheville, North Carolina — as the deer runs around them, struggling to get its footing on the hardwood floor.

Police had hoped it would go out the front door, but instead, the critter got caught in a chair.

The deer can be heard screaming as officers escorted it out of the store by its hind legs.

“I just said I was going to grab it. What other choice do we got? Officer Adam Depew told WJHL-TV, “You know, so they goes in the chair and I was like, ‘gotcha.’”
