CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s tennis team announced its 2026 dual-match schedule on Friday (Dec. 12). The Blue Hose will host 13 matches this season at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

 

PC opens the 2026 dual-match season at Furman on Saturday, Jan. 17. The Blue Hose will face off against the Paladins on the 17th before taking on Austin Peay at Furman on Sunday, Jan. 18.

 

“I’m really excited to get the spring season started,” said head coach Joel Roberts. “The girls had a great fall and we were able to put together a lot of good results. The girls finished the fall semester strong with training and are ready to go for the spring. We were able to put together a great schedule so I know the team will be ready to compete.”

 

After PC’s opening matches at Furman, the Blue Hose will play their first home matches of the year in Clinton. PC will take on Converse and Lander in a doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 24. Six days later, Presbyterian will face Belmont Abbey College in a doubleheader on Jan. 30.

 

The Blue Hose non-conference slate is highlighted by home matches against Queens (Feb. 14), Western Carolina (Feb. 15), College of Charleston (Feb. 18), and North Florida (Feb. 19).

 

Presbyterian also has a robust non-conference schedule on the road that includes matchups against Mercer (Feb. 10), Davidson (Feb. 25), Coastal Carolina (Feb. 28), UNC Wilmington (March 1), and Wofford (March 7).

 

Big South play begins for the Blue Hose at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Sunday, March 8 against Longwood. In conference play, PC will also take on Gardner-Webb (March 19) and Charleston Southern (March 25) in Clinton.

 

After conference play begins, Presbyterian will host two more non-conference matches in back-to-back days against UT Chattanooga (April 2) and Norfolk State (April 3). The Blue Hose will travel to face NC Central (March 21) and UNC Greensboro (March 22) in non-conference action as well.

 

PC will square off against Big South foe UNC Asheville on the road to conclude the regular season on April 8.


The 2026 Big South Conference Championships will feature all six teams in the league and is set to take place in Lexington, S.C. from April 16-18 at the Lexington County Tennis Complex.
