Dohnte Meyers wasn’t the only player who worked out for the Denver Broncos on Friday.

The Broncos hosted six players from the Canadian Football League at their facility on Friday, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. In addition to Meyers, a wide receiver, Denver also brought in two defensive backs, two linebackers and one edge defender. Here’s a quick look at each player.

Dohnte Meyers (5-11, 186 pounds) earned CFL West All-Star honors and won a Grey Cup with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2025, hauling 65 receptions for 1,056 yards and eight touchdowns. He also has experience as a punt and kickoff returner. Meyers is 25 years old.

Andrew Chatfield (6-2, 250 pounds) is a 27-year-old defensive lineman who played college football at Florida and Oregon State before joining the Ottawa Redblacks in 2024. He was traded to the Toronto Argonauts ahead of the 2025 season and totaled 42 tackles, seven sacks and one defensive touchdown in 17 games. He might be a candidate to transition to outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense.

Braxton Hill (6-2, 225 pounds) is a 26-year-old defensive lineman who played college football at Montana before starting his CFL career with the Roughriders before later joining the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He recorded 16 tackles and two interceptions on defense while adding 14 tackles on special teams in 2025.

Devin Veresuk (6-2, 240 pounds) is a 24-year-old linebacker who played college football in Canada and was picked by the Tiger-Cats in the first round (second overall) of the 2025 CFL draft. He totaled 66 tackles, two sacks and one interception in his debut season.

Trey Vaval (5-11, 163 pounds) is a 25-year-old defensive back who went undrafted after playing at Minnesota State and then signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a college free agent in 2024. After failing to make Atlanta’s 53-man roster, Vaval joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was named a CFL All-Star and the CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie after returning two kickoffs, one punt and one field goal for touchdowns in 2025. He also had 21 tackles and an interception on defense.

Destin Talbert (6-0, 190 pounds) is a 26-year-old defensive back out of North Dakota State who started his pro football career with the XFL’s Seattle Sea Dragons in 2023. He joined the Tiger-Cats in 2024. Talbert recorded 113 tackles and five interceptions over the last two seasons in the CFL.
