Welcome to a 7-game Friday night in the NBA!

In the first of two marquee matchups on NBA TV tonight, the Pistons and Hawks square off in an Eastern Conference showdown (7 ET, NBA TV). Detroit won the previous two outings this season, most recently a 99-98 grudge match back on Dec. 1.

Following a solid 9-7 start to the 2025-26 campaign, Chicago has dropped seven in a row and sits at 9-14 overall. The Bulls pay a visit to the 7-17 Charlotte Hornets (7 ET, League Pass) with both squads looking to get back in the win column.

In Philadelphia, the Pacers will try for a third consecutive win when they battle the 76ers (7 ET, League Pass), who will be playing just their third game this season with both Joel Embiid and Paul George active. Indiana head coach Rick Carlisle is one win shy of becoming the 11th coach in NBA history to reach 1,000 career wins.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the nation’s capital to face the 3-19 Washington Wizards (7 ET, League Pass) as they aim to find their offensive rhythm. The Cavs are 2-5 over their last seven contests.

Memphis, a team moving in the opposition direction than Cleveland recently, will try for a third straight victory when they host the Utah Jazz (8 ET, League Pass). The Grizzlies are 5-1 over their last six and 7-3 over their last 10 games. Through their first 14 games of the season, Memphis was 4-10.

In Friday’s lone interconference tilt, the Nets are in Dallas to take on Cooper Flagg and the Mavericks (8:30 ET, League Pass). Both squads are coming off of a win their last time out, and the Mavs have been playing their best basketball of the year so far, going 4-1 over their last five.

For the nightcap on NBA TV, Julius Randle and the Timberwolves face the Warriors in The Bay (10 ET, NBA TV). Anthony Edwards has been ruled out with a foot injury, but there’s a chance Stephen Curry will suit up for Golden State for the first time since Nov. 26 against the Rockets.
