EXCLUSIVE: There will be two new faces to be seen soon in Tracker. Kathleen Robertson (Swimming with Sharks) and Mark Engelhardt (American Horror Story: Asylum) have been cast in recurring roles opposite Justin Hartley and Fiona Rene in the hit CBS series.

Based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver, Tracker stars Hartley as Colter Shaw, “a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family,” per the official logline.

Following last season’s explosive finale, Colter is wrestling with hard truths about his family’s history. In the wake of these shocking revelations, and aided by his trusted team, Colter must put the past in the rearview to focus on what he does best: using his instincts and survival skills to find the missing and collect rewards.

Robertson will play Maxine, a successful attorney at a major firm looking to engage Reenie (Fiona Rene) on what Maxine assures her is simply grunt work for an upcoming class action suit. It quickly becomes clear, however, that Maxine may have an entirely different game that she’s playing. Engelhardt will play Emile Lang, a man with his own moral code. Cold, calculating and methodical.

In this Sunday’s episode, when Colter’s old friend Keaton asks for help finding his former partner, they uncover a trail of bodies and a conspiracy that runs deep.

Hartley executive produces with Ken Olin, Elwood Reid, Connie Dolphin, Sharon Lee Watson and Alex Katsnelson. 20th Television is the studio.

Robertson previously wrote, produced, and appeared in her Roku/Lionsgate’s contemporary series update of George Huang’s 1994 film, Swimming with Sharks, that skewers and celebrates the Hollywood studio system. She recently wrapped a recurring arc on the upcoming fourth season of Amazon’s Reacher. Her other notable credits include The Expanse, Murder in the First, and Bates Motel. Robertson is repped by Trademark Talent, Innovative Artists, attorney Jamie Feldman, as well as Play Management in her native Canada.

Engelhardt is best known for his recurring roles on shows such American Horror Story: Asylum, Major Crimes, NCIS, LA’s Finest and most recently General Hospital. He has also guest-starred on CSI: Vegas and Code Black, among others. He’s repped by Hg5 Entertainment and Metropolitan Talent Agency.
