The 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational is the lone mixed-team event on the PGA Tour and LPGA’s schedules.

Charley Hull and Michael Brennan just keep cruising along. The duo made back-to-back birdies on Nos. 14 and 15 to take a two shot lead at 19 under just before 4 p.m. ET on Saturday. There’s a tie for second between Lexi Thompson/Wyndham Clark and Lauren Coughlin/Andrew Novak at 17 under.

The team of Charley Hull and Michael Brennan is 1 under for the day as they turn to the inward nine. They sit at 18 under for the tournament, leading by one over the team of Jennifer Kupcho and Chris Gotterup.

The final group has teed off and we are fully underway in the second round of the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational. What happened in the first round of the Grant Thornton?

Two groups had record days on Friday. Moments after the Charley Hull-Michael Brennan signed for a 17-under 55, the Lexi Thompson-Wyndham Clark twosome matched it. Each pair had two eagles, 13 birdies and two pars on the par-72 Tiburon Golf Club. That was in the best-ball format. Saturday’s second round will be alternate shot.
