Ukiah 3, Sanger 1
The Wildcats won their second game in a row as they scored once in the first half and twice in the second on Saturday.
Adrian Vasquez had two goals and an assist on the day for Ukiah. He scored in the 23rd minute off a double assist by Rio Munoz and Leo Geata, then helped Ukiah score another by assisting Eusebio Andrade in the 63rd minute.
Not 10 minutes later did Vasquez get his second goal, off an assist from Geata.
Ukiah improves to 2-3-0 on the season.
Cardinal Newman 3, Salesian 1
Newman won its second game of the season with a strong second-half effort against Salesian on Saturday.
Ryan Gibson scored the opening goal for the Cardinals, on the tail end of a wild corner kick that was passed around the box before he tapped it in. That would give Newman a 1-0 halftime lead.
Lucas Flores then made it two after getting dragged down on a breakaway and being awarded a penalty. He took it himself and scored. Noa Shubin got the third on a free kick that was set up by Flores.
The Cardinals are now 2-1-0.
Windsor 3, Chico 2
In one of the best matches of the evening, Windsor scored a late goal to go ahead for good as the Jaguars beat a solid team in Chico on Saturday.
David Needham and Yahir Trejo scored the first two goals for Windsor. Then, with the game tied at two goals apiece, Louden Driscoll set up Damian Mendez for the winning goal that kept the Jaguars unbeaten so far this season at 3-0-2.
Rancho Cotate 6, Novato 0
Rancho, already up 2-0 at halftime, scored four more goals in the second half as they cruised to a win over Novato on Saturday to remain undefeated in the early season.
Kenny Pineda and Roy Calva scored the first half-goals. José Barajas then scored twice after the break, with the other goals coming from Cristian Nava and Luis Ángel López. Matteo Perez had three assists on the day.
Rancho is now 3-0-1.
Analy 5, Corning 2
The Tigers continued their stellar form to start the season with a convincing win over Corning on Saturday, their ninth consecutive victory for a perfect 9-0-0 record so far.
Itai Nadav had a hat trick (three goals) in the win. The other two Analy goals were scored by Damon Halstead and Brandon Cervantes Gutierrez.

The Gauchos picked up a big nonleague win Saturday, beating the Wildcats thanks to a late goal.
Star forward Bailey Guerrero got the game winner in the final five minutes. Casa is now 3-0-1 on the season.
Montgomery 5, Terra Linda 0
Monty scored twice in the first half and three times in the second to blank Terra Linda on Saturday.
Natalia Jimenez led the Vikings’ high-powered offensive attack with a brace (two goals). The other goals were scored by Natalia Perez, Megan Kinsey and Julie Garcia. Jimenez also got an assist, as did Akayla Johnson and Evangeline Tapia.
Montgomery is 4-1-1.
Windsor 3, Acalanes 0
The Jaguars capitalized on a 1-0 halftime lead and scored two more goals in the second half to shut out Acalanes on Saturday.
Avery North led the way with two goals and an assist. She set up Ava Philpott for the opener in the eighth minute. North then scored off an assist by Leilani Delgado 14 minutes into the second half before ending the game on a free kick golazo from 24 yards out.
Windsor is now 4-1-0.
