Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2 crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office today, December 14, 2025. This achievement was reached in 19 days of release, having earned $1,136,670,004 globally thus far, a pace that makes it the fastest Hollywood animated or PG-rated film in history to hit the ten-figure milestone.

The film joins a highly prestigious league of recent blockbusters, including Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch (2025), starring Maia Kealoha, Sydney Agudong, and Chris Sanders, which previously reached the billion-dollar mark, alongside the 2024 hits, Disney’s animated Inside Out 2 and Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
