The four Leduc families continue to make it a family operation and were excited to celebrate the 25-year milestone Saturday with friends, family and the Mayers.

“Thank-you for everything you do,” Leduc, Nisku and Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce Member Relations coordinator Breanna Marfleet said.

As a Triple Creek member, Marfleet said her family has spent many hours on the Triple Creek links.

“It means a lot to everybody to have this celebration,” she said. “There’s been a lot of heart and hard work that goes into it and you guys deserve to celebrate.”

Leduc, Nisku and Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce president Tenielle Magee said the families have “made it feel like home for people.”

Wetaskiwin County Coun. Lynn Carwell was also at Saturday’s event, saying, “It took a leap of faith (from the Mayers) and now everybody is out here having fun. We are so proud to have you in the County.”

Speaking on behalf of the ownership group, Cory Becker said, “It was a pleasure to take this on from the Mayer family. They built a legacy and we want to build on that and continue it.

“They’ve done just an amazing job and we’re delighted they took it on,” said Dave Mayer.
