Both teams enter this contest in a must-win situation.
The Dolphins’ playoff hopes are extremely slim, but they can keep their hopes alive with a win on Monday night. Meanwhile, the Steelers are in first place in the AFC North and can keep a two-game advantage over the Baltimore Ravens with a win.
While the Steelers would only be one game up on the Ravens with a win, they also own the head-to-head tie-breaker for now after defeating Baltimore in Week 14, although the two teams still have one more contest left in Week 18.

The Steelers also own the division record tie-breaker over the Ravens, but that may only be temporary with the Steelers having two more divisional games left and the Ravens having one. Pittsburgh is 3-1 in the AFC North, while Baltimore is 3-2.
If the Steelers end up losing on Monday night, they would remain in first place going into Week 16 thanks to the aforementioned head-to-head tie-breaker.
Now, a look at who experts believe will win the Week 15 game between Miami and Pittsburgh.

Steelers vs. Dolphins picks, predictions
Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News: Steelers 27, Dolphins 20
Iyer: “Mike Tomlin and Aaron Rodgers have flipped the narrative on the team’s play with just one big game at Baltimore. Now Pittsburgh faces a different 6-7 team trying to save its own coach, Mike McDaniel. Look for Jalen Ramsey to make the winning play vs. Tua Tagovailoa to seal it as this cold road matchup is rough for Tua Tagovailoa.”
Bill Bender, The Sporting News: Steelers 22, Dolphins 19
Bender: “The Steelers are in the AFC North lead – and Aaron Rodgers is coming off a season-high 284 passing yards in Week 14. The Dolphins have a plus-7 turnover ratio through a four-game winning streak. Miami is a tempting underdog here, but the early forecast is calling for snow. Will Tua Tagovailoa continue to flip that narrative? Pittsburgh is 1-3 ATS when favored by five points or less.”
