Leading into their inaugural season in 2026, the Toronto Tempo have unveiled the uniforms they will be wearing.

The Tempo revealed their white, blue and black jerseys on Tuesday in a video and series of photos.

The WNBA officially announced in May 2024 that Toronto would be awarded an expansion franchise to begin play in 2026.

Tempo was revealed as the team’s nickname seven months later. Team president Teresa Resch explained in a statement the name is meant to represent the “energy” of Canada and its citizens:

“Tempo is pace. It’s speed. It’s a heartbeat. And it’s what you feel when you step into the streets of this city, and in the energy of the people who call Canada home. As Canada’s WNBA team, I know the Tempo will set our own pace, move at a championship cadence, and inspire people across this country.”

They will become the league’s 14th team and first in WNBA history based outside of the continental United States.

The Tempo will play their home games at Coca-Cola Coliseum. Their first official game will be announced when the full 2026 WNBA schedule is released after the start of the new year.
