Toronto snapped a five‑game skid last week by defeating Winnipeg 31‑17 at BMO Field. Nick Arbuckle threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns to carve up a struggling Bombers secondary. That result gave Toronto its second win of the season and they will look to build on it here.
Winnipeg sits at 3‑3 after a 3–0 start. They have dropped three straight games by two touchdowns or more and have given up 36.3 points per game over that span. Their defence will need to improve to snap that losing streak here.
Quarterback play
Toronto continues with Nick Arbuckle under centre while Chad Kelly remains on the six‑game injured list. Arbuckle ranks second in the league in passing yards and is one of just two quarterbacks in the league with over 2,000 passing yards for the year.
Winnipeg expects Zach Collaros to return after leaving last week’s game with an injury. Collaros has seven touchdowns and eight picks this season. He will need to do a better job of taking care of the football for the Bombers to snap their three-game skid.

Toronto did get the better of the Blue Bombers last week. But I think we see a reversal with the teams moving to Winnipeg for this matchup. The running game of the Blue Bombers should help to offset any injury concerns surrounding Collaros and the Winnipeg defense should improve on their home turf.
