The “PCVR Level-up Event” is aimed at simmers and racers looking to upgrade to a higher-resolution experience without sending in their old hardware.
The Crystal Light offers 4K-per-eye resolution with a pixel density of 35 PPD, making it especially appealing for sim enthusiasts flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, DCS World, or racing in iRacing. The sharp visuals are designed to make cockpit displays, HUDs, and track elements clearer and easier to read compared to older-generation devices.
Eligible headsets for this upgrade program include models from Meta, Valve, HTC, HP, Pico, Varjo, and Bigscreen. Popular headsets like the Rift S, Quest 2/3, Valve Index, HP Reverb G2, and HTC Vive series are all accepted. The process is entirely digital—users submit their existing headset details, wait for approval, and receive a unique discount code via email. There is no need to send in your old headset.
How the Discount Works
Unlike traditional trade-in programs, users don’t need to send in their old headset. Instead, they simply:

Wait for approval (usually within 2 business days)
Receive a personal discount code
Apply the discount when purchasing the Crystal Light
