Earlier this month, the pair hard-launched their coupling on Instagram, with Trudeau reminding everyone he was once Canada’s prime minister for nearly a decade (like we could forget) but could still work it with a pop star.

Then Perry followed his political post with one befitting the singer behind hits like Hot N Cold, California Gurls, Swish Swish and Unconditionally, where the emphasis is on the wrong syllable.
Going official on Instagram is a big deal, especially in photos and videos that showcase very public displays of affection.
But it appears Canada’s former leader likes being one half of a high-profile couple — at least that’s what a political source told the New York Post.
“Star f—ing is very much the Trudeau brand,” the insider said. “I don’t think these things are hard to arrange when you’re in those circles.”

Another source said Perry’s attention has given Trudeau a much-needed ego boost after he saw his popularity plummet, resulting in him stepping down as Liberal leader and PM.
“He felt inadequate,” the source claimed.
It’s something that Perry was also feeling, following the much-maligned all-female Blue Origin space flight, and her latest album and Lifetimes Tour not exactly making Taylor Swift-like waves.
