Local golf enthusiasts will be able to keep their skills sharp through the winter at a new facility opening in Pembroke later this week.
The city has announced it’s holding a grand opening event for the new ACE Indoor Golf location opening on Pembroke Street West.
The facility is described by staff members as an indoor golf simulator, allowing users to use real golf clubs and balls in controlled, indoor environments to practice their technique.
The results of swings calculated by dedicated computers and shown on large projectors.
According to the announcement, Pembroke’s ACE Indoor Golf location will feature nine bays for golfers to use, five of which will be private. Features include touchscreen kiosks and automated tee setup sytems.
The grand opening is happening at the ACE Indoor Golf location at 193-1200 Pembroke Street West on Friday, December 19th at noon.
