Burglars broke into WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu’s home in Los Angeles on Monday night, police confirmed to The Cut. The two suspects allegedly smashed a glass back door and “ransacked” the house before fleeing the scene. Per NBC Los Angeles, the two masked thieves drove off with several of Ionescu’s handbags, which were reportedly worth more than $60,000.

The New York Liberty point guard and her husband, former NFL player Hroniss Grasu, were not home at the time of the incident, police said, and no arrests have been made as of Wednesday morning.

Ionescu has been with the Liberty for five years and is considered one of the best basketball players in the WNBA. She was selected first overall by the Liberty during the 2020 draft.
