MIAMI — Alycia Baumgardner made it look easy in Friday night’s co-feature on Netfilx.
Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua met in the main event at Kaseya Center.

Baumgardner (17-1, 7 KOs) outboxed Leila Beaudoin (13-2, 2 KOs) in a one-sided unanimous decision to retain her IBF, WBA and WBO 130-pound titles.

“This win was for my dad,” Baumgardner said after the fight she won by scores of 118-109 and 117-110 twice. “I give myself an A-plus.”

The victory marked Baumgardner’s sixth straight successful title defense. It was her first since 2023 as just the unified champion. She vacated the WBC title ahead of the bout in favor of fighting 12 three-minute rounds as opposed to the typical 10 two-minute rounds for a women’s title fight.

After a slow first two rounds where both fighters were feeling each other out, Baumgardner found success picking off Beaudoin from range and countering her, which included landing a big straight right hand in the third round. Beaudoin’s eyes began to swell as a result because of Baumgardner’s jab and counterpunching.

The action plateaued again, though, as Beaudoin appeared to be affected by Baumgardner’s work to the body in the middle rounds. Then, in the waning moments of the seventh as Beaudoin was trying to force her way to the inside, she was dropped by a chopping right hand.

Beaudoin looked worse for wear between the seventh and eighth rounds, but started to catch a second wind and had her moments in the ninth, 11th and 12th round as the action picked up. It wasn’t enough to overcome the sharper work from Baumgardner.

Beaudoin was on a four-fight win streak heading into Friday.

The other results:

Anderson Silva (4-2, 3 KOs) def. Tyron Woodley (0-3) by second-round TKO

After a lackluster first round, Silva dropped Woodley with a vicious right uppercut. Woodley rose to his feet on unsteady legs, but right as the action was about to resume, the fight was stopped.

Jahmal Harvey (2-0, 1 KO) def. Kevin Cervantes (5-1, 5 KOs) by unanimous decision (60-53, 60-53, 60-53)

Harvey displayed his skills and speed out of both stances as he dropped and thoroughly outboxed the previously unbeaten Cervantes.

Cherneka Johnson (19-2, 8 KOs) def. Amanda Galle (12-1-1, 1 KO) by unanimous decision (99-91, 98-92, 97-93)

In a bloody fight that mostly took place in close quarters, Johnson’s pressure and volume helped her retain her undisputed bantamweight title and hand Galle her first loss.

Caroline Dubois (12-0-1, 5 KOs) def. Camilla Panatta (8-3-1, 1 KO) by unanimous decision (99-90, 99-90, 99-90)

Dubois delivered a well-rounded performance and dropped Panatta in the sixth round with a right hook in a one-sided decision victory to retain her WBC lightweight title in her U.S. debut.

Yokasta Valle (34-3, 10 KOs) def. Yadira Bustillos (11-2, 2 KOs) by majority decision (95-95, 98-92, 96-94)

Valle did the better work throughout the all-action, high-paced fight to retain her WBC strawweight title.

Avious Griffin (18-1, 17 KOs) def. Justin Cardona (10-2, 5 KOs) by first-round knockout

Griffin got back into the win column, as he dropped Cardona with a vicious left hook late in the opening stanza, and he was unable to beat referee Christopher Young’s count.

Keno Marley (1-0) def. Diarra Davis Jr (2-2, 1 KO) by unanimous decision (40-35, 40-35, 40-35)

Everything went according to plan for Marley in his pro debut, as he dropped Davis in the first round and won every round on all three scorecards.
