Police are investigating what they deem to be a “suspicious death” in St. John’s that was discovered over the weekend.

In a statement Monday afternoon, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said officers responded to a home on Empire Avenue around 6 p.m. N.T. on Sunday, where police found a man dead.

“At this time, there is no information to suggest this was a random attack,” the RNC said.

Police are also working to determine the identity of the deceased man.

Investigators also found a vehicle of interest on Anthony Avenue, a four-door grey 2013 Subaru Impreza with tinted windows. It’s asking the public to submit any information or video footage that could help track the vehicles movements from 1:30 p.m. yesterday to 3:30 a.m. Monday.
