A female is in hospital with minor injuries, says paramedics, following a three-vehicle collision that caused one car to flip over in Toronto’s west end on Tuesday evening.
The crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. near St. Clair Avenue West and Mould Avenue, just west of Runnymede Road.
Police say the driver from the flipped vehicle initially fled the scene on foot, but has since returned.
The two other drivers remained on scene.
The circumstances surrounding this collision are unclear at this time.
Footage taken at the scene shows a nearby business’s front window completely shattered, with what appears to be a tire with part of the axle sticking out of it inside.
Police say a woman was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Paramedics told CP24 that a second patient refused treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
