Anyone in need of a last-minute Christmas gift for NASCAR fans might have the perfect opportunity thanks to Calabogie Motorsports Park.
Tickets are on sale for the NASCAR Canada Series’ second visit to Calabogie over the July 18th weekend, as the racecourse’s business development manager, Cory Klinkenberg, says last year’s instant classic of a debut race has the two sides thinking about a long-term commitment.
On top of plans to build on last year’s successful selection of camping and fan experience zones, some smaller changes are also in the works to improve Calabogie’s 2.8-kilometer stadium track configuration, which tantalized some of Canada’s top racers with a series of challenging technical segments and iconic turns like the quarry bend heading into the finish line.
Klinkenberg adds that the weekend’s excitement won’t just start and stop with their main event, as his team has already begun ensuring both days have enough high-octane action to keep fans buzzing.
Fans will also have the chance to explore the paddock and meet with the drivers during the day while enjoying live entertainment during the evenings.
Tickets can be purchased through the Calabogie Motorsports Park website.
