CHRISTMAS cards sent by the NASCAR legend Greg Biffle have started arriving in mailboxes – only days after his family were killed in a fiery plane crash.
Biffle, his wife Cristina, and his two children Ryder and Emma died when their private jet crashed in North Carolina last Thursday.

The Cessna C550 plane burst into a huge fireball while attempting to land at Statesville Regional Airport.
Before their death, Biffle’s family had sent cards for the holidays.
The card featured a photograph of the Biffle family smiling and a heartwarming note.
“We hope that you are able to slow down and enjoy the magic and joy that this season has to offer,” it said.

Ron Herbert, who runs Red Rocks Cafe, was one person who received the card.
“I received this in the mail today,” he wrote on Instagram.
“My words can’t say enough about the family.”
Seven people were on board Biffle’s plane when it crashed.
The private jet was heading to Sarasota, Florida, before returning to the North Carolina airport just minutes after takeoff.
Investigators revealed the plane hit a runway light stanchion around 1,800 feet short of the threshold.
Then, the plane collided with trees and two more runway light stanchions.
Investigators have not revealed who was piloting the plane.

But, three of the seven people on board had pilots licenses.
Biffle had a private pilot license and could fly fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
Investigators have not revealed if the plane experienced any mechanical issues before it crashed.
“We do not know the circumstances that led the aircraft to return to the airport,” Michael Graham, a National Transportation Safety Board official, said.

It could take up to two years for the final NTSB report to be published.
But, a preliminary report may be released in a few weeks, ex-military pilot Dan Rose told US Weekly.
Rose admitted he would be surprised if the final dossier is released within one year of the tragedy.
Biffle was a two-time NASCAR national-series champion – Truck title in 2000; Xfinity/Busch title in 2002 – and later a Cup Series winner.

He made 515 starts in the Cup Series, winning 19 races in the process. He was named as one of the racing series’ 75 best in 2023.
Just months before the tragic crash, the racing legend was pictured with President Donald Trump at the Daytona 500.
Before that, In October of 2024, Biffle met with Vice President JD Vance at the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Biffle served as the honorary starter that day, and posed for a picture with Vance alongside his daughter Emma.
