Ivanka Trump is getting a chilly reception in Aspen, according to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack.
The first daughter, 44, and her family’s December arrival “turned the ski town into a full-blown security lockdown, leaving other holiday makers furious,” the gossip columnist reported on Monday, December 29.

“She acts like she’s the first lady,” one insider complained to Shuter of the president’s daughter, who came with her husband, Jared Kushner, 44, and their kids, Arabella, 14, Joseph, 12, and Theodore, 9. “The security footprint was massive. It completely disrupted skiing for everyone else.”
“Seeing armed security hovering around kids on the slopes was surreal,” another source told Shuter. “And knowing the public is footing the bill? People were not happy.”

And while the town is known for welcoming superstars and billionaires, the Kushners’ presence caused roadblocks and closed paths.
“Celebrities come here to disappear — not to shut the place down,” a local explained to Shuter, noting that the Kushners don’t even work for the administration anymore.
“Aspen isn’t the White House,” one frustrated guest noted, “and nobody elected her.”
