The actress and model, 71, shared an Instagram post to honor her daughter’s 40th birthday.
In the post, Alex is wearing a loose, light sequined frock while mom Christie dons a body-hugging chocolate brown dress.
The dress accentuated Christie’s hourglass shape, a nod to her history-breaking modeling career.
The duo kneeled and sang the Christmas classic, O Holy Night.

In her caption, she expressed hopes for Alexa’s coming year, wishing that it would be as harmonious as a musical.
