Austin Green is finally a full-time driver in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series. In 2026, Green will run full-time in the No. 87 car for Peterson Racing. Over the last few seasons, Green has run part-time with Jordan Anderson Racing and Peterson Racing, but finally earned a full-time seat in the series.

Green has been very good on road courses, so he should be expected to earn at least one top-10 finish in the No. 87 car during the 2026 NASCAR season. The former Jordan Anderson Racing competitor is also good on ovals, but not as strong as he can perform on road courses.

This will be a good development year for Green, who will have a full O’Reilly Series schedule to run in 2026. The goal should be to improve as a driver while performing well on tracks that he has previously succeeded on. Green is ready for the challenge, and he should raise some eyebrows in 2026.
