Bryson DeChambeau’s contract with LIV Golf expires after the 2026 season, much as Brooks Koepka’s did before he departed the competition. And DeChambeau isn’t publicly committing to LIV beyond that 2026 campaign just yet.

“It’s confidential. I’m not going to share too much, but the conversations are in process,” he told Flushing It Golf (h/t David Rumsey of Front Office Sports). “We have to get to a place where both parties have a good understanding of one another. It is getting to a place that makes sense for both sides. And, I think that can happen, but you never know. Life throws curveballs.”

DeChambeau acknowledged that Koepka’s departure was a “shock” and “definitely throws in some unique things” with his own negotiations with LIV Golf.

“It’s where I want to be, but ultimately, it’s got to make sense for everybody,” he added of those negotiations. “Because I could just do YouTube golf and be totally fine as well.”

DeChambeau has 2.55 million subscribers on YouTube.

He is currently the captain of Crushers GC at LIV and owns 25 percent of the team and believes that things at LIV GOLF “have got to change” and “improve,” saying he wishes he was consulted more in those efforts.

“I don’t run this thing at all,” he said. “I don’t really have much say, to be honest with you. Which is funny, but it is what it is. And I sometimes wish I had more say, but that’s life and I don’t run the organization.”

The 32-year-old finished top-five at both The Masters and PGA Championship last season and was 10th at the Open Championship, though he missed the cut at the U.S. Open. He also took part in the United States’ disappointing defeat at the Ryder Cup.

He finished third in the LIV Golf individual standings in 2025, and Crushers GC finished second in the team competition.
