Caitlin Clark isn’t lying low during the WNBA offseason. Instead, she’s quietly expanding her footprint beyond the court, and a recent podcast appearance made that clear.
While fans continue to track her on-court evolution, CC just offered a revealing glimpse into what could be a significant off-court move tied to sneaker culture and brand collaborations.

The Indiana Fever star appeared on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, where the conversation turned to shoes and sneakers. That’s when Clark openly discussed her growing role in the design process and what excites her most about it.
“So I think that’s gonna be probably the most fun part,” Clark said. “Okay, great, you have the mold of the shoe and what it is and the technology that’s in it. But more so, I think I’m more excited about making certain color ways or collabing with certain brands or whatever it is.”
Clark then delivered the most eye-catching part of the conversation, revealing that a Kansas City Chiefs-themed design is already in the works.
“I know, I definitely got a Chiefs color way on the way or PE or something,” Clark said. “Maybe we can get Andy Reid to coach them at some point or something.” “I grew up wanting to be a Nike athlete, every kid does,” she said, “Nike, Jordan, that’s the premier brand. Everybody knows that.”
Caitlin Clark’s anticipated Nike signature shoe is expected to launch in Spring 2026.
“Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world. I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve created together.” https://t.co/m2SDtul3z9 pic.twitter.com/woXpn6R88T

That idea carries even more weight given Clark’s existing relationship with Nike. She signed an eight-year, $28 million signature deal with the brand in 2024, the largest shoe contract ever for a women’s basketball player.
The agreement includes her own signature logo featuring interlocking Cs and a debut signature sneaker scheduled to launch in 2026. Until then, Clark has been wearing Nike Kobes on the court, with her apparel line already available, while Nike continues to build momentum through major marketing campaigns and player-exclusive releases tied to the Kobe line.
The Indiana Fever’s star is positioning herself as a central figure in basketball’s sneaker culture, and this offseason announcement makes it clear her impact is only getting bigger.
