The Philadelphia 76ers will be seeking a second consecutive win when they travel to Dallas to play against the Mavericks on Thursday night.

Philadelphia is fresh off of a thrilling 139-136 overtime victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. In that game, star center Joel Embiid tallied 34 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 blocks in 38 minutes of action. It was probably the big fella’s best overall game of the season to date.
Joel Embiid ‘probable’ to play against Mavericks on Thursday night
After playing so many minutes in that game, there was some question about Embiid’s availability for the game in Dallas, But, things are looking promising.

Embiid is listed as “probable” on the official injury report for the game, indicating that he is likely to play. A final determination regarding Embiid’s status will be made closer to tipoff time.
On the season, Embiid has appeared in 14 games for Philadelphia and posted averages of 22.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 block per performance.
The game between Philly and Dallas will be the second of the season between the two teams. The Sixers bested the Mavs 121-114 back on Dec. 20. After Thursday night, the teams won’t meet again until next season.
