As the episode begins, Bill is still at Spencer telling Katie how proud of her he is for standing up to Brooke. Playfully, he admits that he stopped by Forrester to “say hi to my brother-in-law.” Ridge and Brooke are so condescending, Katie says, it just fires her up more and more. Speaking of “Bridge,” they’re at Forrester learning from Carter that the name Logan now really does belong to Bill and Katie. At the beach house, Dylan interrupts Will and Electra’s make-out session to thank them again for their kindness — and to say how glad she is that her pal found a wonderful guy like Bill’s son. Nothing sus about that, eh?
Carter Makes It Official: Spencer Owns Logan
After the opening credits, Carter insists to Brooke and Ridge that Bill got the Logan trademark by the book. Ruh-roh. Brooke admits that she may have just made things worse. Gee, ya think? Back at Spencer, as determined as Katie is, she can’t help but wonder if maybe Ridge and Brooke are right and she is in over her head trying to start a fashion house. Look, if R.J. could become a designer overnight, Katie is more than qualified to run a fashion house.
While Carter goes to a finance meeting, Ridge bails on it to talk some more about how upset Brooke is. He reassures her that Katie is her sister and always will. But “the idea of her being a fashion mogul… I don’t think that’s gonna happen.” Lord, even when he’s trying to be supportive, Ridge is jerky!

Katie Imagines the Absolute Worst
At the same time, Bill reassures Katie that, while what she’s undertaking would make some people wilt, she’s not “some people.” Plus, she has him and his zillions behind her. “Don’t let Brooke get in your head,” he says as he leaves Katie to hear a replay of her and her sister’s fight in her head.

At Forrester, Brooke keeps whining about Katie bringing up old history. Ridge insists that she’s a great sister to Katie and, soon, she will be humbled and realize fashion isn’t for her. Right on cue, Katie replays Brooke’s cruel words to her. She even flashes back to Brooke/Bill trysts that, thankfully, she wasn’t present to see. “I can do this,” Katie tries to tell herself. But when she imagines her first runway show, it goes disastrously wrong, and Brooke laughs her ass off at the debacle.
Electra Puts Out the Unwelcome Mat
Later, Will and Electra show Dylan her new home. She’s so happy, you’d swear she had never seen a bed before. “This is the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me,” Dylan says, hugging Will as Electra looks all, “Um, WTH?”
When Will exits to go surfing, Dylan goes on and on about how terrific and generous he is. Immediately, Electra starts pushing her supposed pal out the door, saying that as nice as he is, “Even the kindest of hosts don’t want houseguests for too long.” Wow. Electra goes on to say that all Will wants is Dylan’s respect, so “respect him — and that he is my boyfriend.”

Yup, Dylan *Is* Crushing On Will
In the episode’s final moments, Dylan reminds Electra that she turned down Will’s offer of the guest room until Electra said she’d stay at the beach house, too. Somehow, they manage to hug it out. I might’ve preferred the car to living near someone as jealous as Electra. Then again, she seems to be right to be on guard. Dylan has to stop herself from gawking at a shirtless Will when he returns from surfing. That is, she tries to stop herself. Maybe next time?

At Forrester, Brooke lays the blame on Katie. “She’s just so sensitive.” When Bill returns to Spencer, Katie recaps her daydream to him. “The audience was laughing and laughing!” Worse, Brooke was in the nightmare taking delight in her failure. Brooke isn’t confident that Katie will fail, Bill insists, that’s just bravado. “She doesn’t control you, and she certainly doesn’t predict the future… Logan will become a success because of you.” Moved, she thanks her “rock” with a kiss.
