What’s Happening?

Nobody likes losing, but in a sport like NASCAR, at least 36 drivers lose every week. Sometimes drivers can go weeks, and even years, until they find victory lane, something familiar even to those who have already found such glory. Here are the active, winningest drivers in the Cup Series entering the 2026 season.

This list is exclusive to drivers planning to compete in the NASCAR Cup Series full-time in 2026. Of course, to be on this list, you MUST have won a NASCAR Cup Series race in your career.

The drivers on this list have competed in races in the past calendar year, both part-time and full-time. For inclusion, one must also be competing full-time in 2026 and have not won a race in over a calendar year, meaning that drivers who have not won a race in the last 35 or fewer races are not on this list.

Last year, the only driver who found their way off this list was Bubba Wallace, winning his first race since 2022. The current longest losing streak entering this year is Justin Haley, who will not be featured on this list due to his move to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

38 Races – Tyler Reddick – No. 45 – 23XI Racing

Last Win: Homestead (October 2024)

Following his run at the Championship Four in 2026, 23XI’s Tyler Reddick hoped for an even better 2025 campaign. Unfortunately, Reddick was consistent but failed to win, making the playoffs on points before an early exit.

41 Races – Ricky Stenhouse Jr – No 47 – Hyak Motorsports

Last Win: Talladega (October 2024)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr entered the 2025 season coming off a win with JTG-Daugherty Racing, but, beyond this superspeedway win, things were far from normal at the newly dubbed Hyak Motorsports. This past season was similar to others for the No. 47, though their impact on track failed to match both their winning seasons in 2023 and 2024.

44 Races – Chris Buescher – No. 17 – RFK Racing

Last Win: Watkins Glen (September 2024)

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season was a hard adjustment for the guys at RFK Racing, and, in snapping their consecutive years winning streak, the team’s top driver, Chris Buescher, also snapped his streak of wins dating back to 2022.

52 Races – Alex Bowman – No. 48 – Hendrick Motorsports

Last Win: Chicago (July 2024)

In 2024, Alex Bowman seemingly turned a corner in his career, tying his career high for top-ten finishes, scoring his first win since 2022, and just missing out on the Round of Eight. This past season felt like another step back for Bowman, who, much like in 2023, failed to find victory lane.

59 Races – Brad Keselowski – No. 6 – RFK Racing

Last Win: Darlington (May 2024)

After finally finding victory lane during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, it looked like Brad Keselowski was finally back. But much like his RFK teammates, the bad luck bug bit the No. 6 team early on in the season, resulting in another winless season for the owner/driver.

70 Races- Daniel Suarez – No. 7 – Spire Motorsports

Last Win: Atlanta (February 2024)

Daniel Suarez needed to prove that he belonged at Trackhouse Racing in 2025. Still, ultimately, his contract year resulted in the veteran falling short of his teammates Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen, failing to piece together back-to-back winning seasons for a second time in his career.

76 Races Total; 56 Races Started – AJ Allmendinger – No. 16 – Kaulig Racing

Last Win: Charlotte Roval (October 2023)

AJ Allmendinger used to be the king of the road in NASCAR, and when he returned for full-time action in 2025, most expected him and his fellow road course ace Shane van Gisbergen to go head-to-head throughout the season road course races. Unfortunately, 2025 would be one of AJ’s worst in NASCAR’s Next Gen era, failing to snap his streak that dates back to 2023.

84 Races – Michael McDowell – No. 71 – Spire Motorsports

Last Win: Indianapolis Grand Prix Circuit (August 2023)

Michael McDowell entered new ground in 2025, signing a multi-year deal with Spire Motorsports. Despite some solid outings, the No. 71 team was unable to find victory lane, keeping Spire out of the winners’ circle for yet another year, and maintaining McDowell’s years-long losing streak.

93 Races – Kyle Busch – No. 8 – Richard Childress Racing

Last Win: Gateway (June 2023)

The streak fans will likely hear the most about in 2026 is Kyle Busch’s career-long losing streak that, on June 4, 2026 (should it last that long), will reach three years. Busch struggled throughout 2025, but with a refreshed look, he will try to get back to the winning form that he and RCR had in early 2023.

117 Races Total; 115 Races Started – Erik Jones – No. 43 – Legacy Motor Club

Last Win: Darlington (September 2022)

Erik Jones may not have snapped his losing streak in 2025, but entering the 2026 season, he and Legacy Motor Club have turned a corner. Last year, the team and driver managed to piece together one of their most consistent seasons since their win in 2022, improving on a disappointing first season with Toyota in 2024.

This list will be updated race to race as the season continues.
