Lewis Hamilton and Almave, the non-alcoholic blue agave company he co-founded, have released an open letter reflecting on 2025 and “looking ahead” to the year to come.

Within, the seven-time F1 drivers’ champion highlighted “how essential it is to pause, reflect, and build on the defining milestones to guide what comes next”, something that is poignant given the torrid first F1 season he endured with Ferrari.

The British driver failed to reach the grand prix podium all campaign, the first time that has happened in his F1 career, and he was consistently slower than team-mate Charles Leclerc.

The SF-25 was a shell of the car it should have been, but the 40-year-old underwhelmed nonetheless, too often cutting a frustrated and despondent figure when speaking to media.

Later in the letter, the 105-time grand prix winner adds: “For 2026, l’m thinking about joy, passion, and curiosity…”

Whilst last year failed to bring anything for the passionate Ferrari fans to cheer about, there will be considerable curiosity surrounding the Scuderia and Hamilton, and how well they can perform under the brand new F1 regulations.
