The NSN Cycling team–formerly known as Israel – Premier Tech, is shaping up. It all came together pretty quickly after Premier Tech dropped out in November. They now sponsor Mathieu van der Poel (and Hugo Houle’s!) Alpecin team.

NSN, a sports entertainment company (“NSN” stands for “Never Say Never”), partnered with Geneva-based Swiss investment platform Stoneweg to take over IPT’s WorldTour and development teams.
Registered in Switzerland, the team will largely operate from Barcelona and Girona.
With new ownership and a revamped structure, NSN is aiming for a reset for the 2026 season.
“We are proud to welcome NSN and Stoneweg to the team and announce our new name and identity: NSN Cycling Team,” NSN Cycling Team general manager Kjell Carlström said. “NSN’s acquisition of the team licence, and subsequent role in the team’s operations, is an opportunity to welcome investment from an industry leader in global sports and entertainment. Drawing on their wealth of experience to the benefit of the team and our partners.”

The team also has a new sprinter on the team: Eritrean Biniam Grimay. He’s only 25 but has won the Tour de France green jersey, won stages of the Giro and has been a force in one-day races.
The team also added Lewis Askey, Ryan Mullen and Alessandro Pinarello for 2026. Although several Canadians have left–or as in the case of Mike Woods, retired, there are still a few left–as well as directeur sportfit, Steve Bauer. On the (once again) WorldTour team are Pier-André Côté and Guillaume Bovin. On the Conti squad, Dylan Bibic returns along with youngster Ben Morin
Girmay will be with the team for three years.
“Looking at the team’s sprint train, they were always really strong, especially how they stayed together and motivated each other. I heard them many times during races, motivating each other so much, so I’m really looking forward to working together. I see a great opportunity with NSN Cycling Team and I feel that this is the best thing for my future,” he said.
The new kit is pretty colorful and unique–and definitely a massive rebrand from IPT. They will also ride Scott bikes this year. Ekoi remains as clothing sponsor.
