There’s method dressing — when actors style their red carpet looks to echo whatever they’re promoting (think Margot Robbie on the Barbie press tour). Then there’s whatever the hell Meg Stalter is up to. At the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, Stalter showed up to the red carpet in full Kylie Jenner cosplay. Her Hacks co-star Paul W. Downs was the Timmy Tim to her King Kylie. The pair were dressed as Timothée Chalamet and Jenner at the Marty Supreme New York premiere. You know, the one where Zohran Mamdani met Fran Drescher? Downs even had the ping-pong paddle cross-body bag to match Chalamet’s look to a T.
Previous Stalter stunts include being full Dunkin’ spon on the VMAs red carpet, dressing down (except for a demand for ceasefire) at the Emmy’s, and displaying a love supreme for Diet Coke at the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards. That one, in particular, became many a hot girl’s Halloween costume. And that’s not even getting into her talk show lewks.
What were the real Chalamet and Jenner up to this weekend? Attending the Palm Springs Film Festival. Club Chalamet reported that she hugged Chalamet, and wished him a happy birthday. Then he won an award, which is nice.
