Eddie Hall has revealed the very simple game plan he used to win his MMA debut.
‘The Beast’ was an underdog heading into his fight against Mariusz Pudzianowski, who had 27 MMA fights before competing at KSW 105 in April.
The five-time ‘World’s Strongest Man’ ended up suffering a shock 30-second knockout loss to Hall.
Three months later, Eddie Hall has detailed the ‘stupid’ plan he used to beat the Polish legend.

Hall recently sat down for an in-depth interview about his life and career with Men’s Health UK.
During the 35-minute conversation, Hall delved into his preparation for the Pudzianowski matchup.
Tape study prompted the 37-year-old and his team to create a ‘first punch’ game plan that worked perfectly on fight night.
“It sounds really stupid to say this, but our plan was to get the first punch in,” Hall said.
“We watched all his previous fights, and whoever landed the first punch in all of his previous fights was usually who won. We noticed this with all of his fights, so we just made sure we landed that first punch.
“It sounds daft, but that was our plan. I landed that first punch. I saw his eyes roll, and I just pounced on him.
“I’ve gotta finish this guy off. You can’t let your foot off the gas for a second. Threw him across the ring again. That jiu-jitsu came in very handy. Straight on him. Hammerfisting him in the face, and the referee stopped it.”
Eddie Hall’s next fight
Post-fight, Hall revealed he’s already signed a contract to do a rematch with Pudzianowski.
However, it’s currently unclear if the 49-year-old will take the fight or retire from MMA.
A scrap with Francis Ngannou has also been discussed for Hall, who is intent on having fun with fighting.
“I’ve got no aspirations to be a ranked fighter,” Hall added when asked about his fighting future.
“I’ve got no aspirations to be a world champion.
“I’ve had the bulk of my success in strongman, and I think my best years of athleticism are behind me.
“I’ve got a few more years left and I just wanna enjoy it.
“I think the MMA keeps me fit, active, and I enjoy the fight scene. I always have.”
