The first TV renewal of the new year is a bittersweet one. Paramount+ kicked off 2026 by announcing that Mayor of Kingstown, the Taylor Sheridan-created, Jeremy Renner-starring crime thriller series, has been renewed for a (slightly) shortened fifth and final season. Meanwhile, another long-running show doesn’t seem like it’s ending anytime soon. Netflix has renewed Emily in Paris for a sixth season.Â
