A Yellowstone National Park bison stampede is an awesome display of power and even grace as the colossal animals gallop across the landscape, en masse, with a sense of urgency known only to them.

But when there are highways, automobiles, and even guardrails in their paths, a stampede can feature some clumsy moments.

Viewers will note that it’s a minor inconvenience, for the most part. But moments after one bison leaps over the rail, another bison becomes temporarily stuck on the obstruction.

After that, it’s clear sailing. The clip is posted below and, despite some criticism in the comments section, the motorists remained stationary during the encounter, appropriately.
