Limitless Cycling, a program of River Valley Trails, has been honored with the 2025 County Impact of the Year Award by the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation (EDC) — a recognition celebrating organizations that deliver significant community impact across St. Croix County.
This prestigious award reflects Limitless Cycling’s visionary leadership in expanding accessible outdoor recreation and improving quality of life for residents of all ages and abilities. From its grassroots beginnings to a county-wide force for inclusion, Limitless Cycling has transformed access to parks, trails, and community spaces by providing adaptive bicycles, Trackchairs®, and dedicated volunteers to those who can no longer enjoy the outdoors independently.
With a rapidly growing fleet and deep partnerships — including senior living communities, healthcare providers, conservation groups, and county agencies — Limitless Cycling now delivers more than a thousand inclusive rides annually throughout the St. Croix River Valley. Its work supports county priorities in health, mobility, aging, and community well-being, and serves as a model for accessible recreation across the region.
“We are humbled and honored to receive this recognition,” said Matthew Stepaniak (Director, Limitless Cycling). “This award isn’t about us — it’s about every rider who feels the wind on their face again, every volunteer who shows up with heart, and every partner who believes access to the outdoors should be universal.”
