The event offers a chance to celebrate not only Biffle’s remarkable racing achievements but also the compassion and community spirit that defined his family’s legacy
MOORESVILLE, N.C. — The town of Mooresville will pay tribute to racing legend Greg Biffle with a special celebration on Friday, Jan. 16.
“Burnout for Biffle” will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street, giving the community a chance to honor Biffle’s extraordinary racing career and his deep connection to Mooresville, also known as Race City USA.
The tribute comes as the community remembers Biffle as more than just a successful driver, but as someone whose generous heart and passion for helping others left a lasting impact far beyond the racetrack, the town said.Â
YouTuber and motorsports personality Cleetus McFarland will perform a tribute burnout near Biffle’s star on the North Carolina Auto Racing Walk of Fame.
Inside the Charles Mack Citizen Center, guests can view a special collection of Biffle racing memorabilia, supported by the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame, according to the town.
The memorial will also highlight two causes close to the Biffle family’s heart: the American Red Cross and Lake Norman Humane Society. Both organizations benefited from the family’s longtime support and generosity.
The event offers a chance to celebrate not only Biffle’s remarkable racing achievements but also the compassion and community spirit that defined his family’s legacy in Mooresville.
