Freezing rain is coming down in parts of Manitoba on Sunday morning.
Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a yellow warning for the weather event.
The federal agency says roads will likely become slippery, slowing down and bringing impacting rush hour traffic.
Under the rain there’s also the risk of injuries due to slips and falls as sidewalks also turn icy.

Environment Canada said it issues this kind of warning when rain falls in sub-zero temperatures creating ice build-up and icy surfaces.
Winnipeg, Dauphin, Steinbach and Portage la Prairie are among the communities in southern Manitoba under the weather warning.
