The US Youth Soccer National League and US Club Soccer National Premier Leagues (NPL) will integrate into a unified competition structure, beginning in the 2026-27 season.
The newly-unified pathway will align tens of thousands of teams nationwide, with the goal of creating clearer progression, rewarding on-field performance, and maintaining strong connections to local and state-based competitions.
According to the two National Associations, this alignment is the first step in a broader effort in conjunction with U.S. Soccer to strengthen and optimize youth soccer’s competition platforms, both nationally and across state and local leagues.
