Hudson Williams was really living that “bus, club, ‘nother club, ’nother club, plane, next place, no sleep” lifestyle this week.

Immediately after making his late-night debut on The Tonight Show and attending the Industry premiere in New York, the 24-year-old Heated Rivalry star flew back to Los Angeles to attend every pre-Golden Globes party he possibly could before stepping out on the red carpet for the actual awards ceremony. That kind of travel and leisure schedule can be pretty tough on the skin, even when you’ve got a 20-minute skin care regiment that went viral on The Cut.

So how did he look so refreshed in every single photo flooding your FYPs this weekend? That’s where celebrity hairstylist and skin care expert Aika Flores comes in. “For any of my clients, facials help a lot,” she tells Glamour, exclusively. “I always recommend a deep facial a day before to calm the skin and reduce redness. Eye patches the day of are a must. For some clients, I’ll even suggest doing a quick ice-water facial to depuff and tighten the skin up. Skin care also starts from within. Keep your stress low, stay balanced, and eat clean. Nutrition-wise, avoid anything too oily or fried. What you put in your body absolutely shows up on your skin.”

And if you’re wondering what Flores used to get Williams ready to present at tonight’s awards show alongside Heated Rivalry costar Connor Storrie, she broke down the entire five-step routine for Glamour.

Using products by celeb-favorite skin care brand iS Clinical, Flores began by cleansing Williams’s skin with the lightweight Cleansing Complex before spraying his skin with a Copper Firming Mist. “It instantly and beautifully sets the tone for relaxation and hydration,” she says. “This refreshing treatment mist instantly wakes up the skin with a smoothing and firming effect, while lightly hydrating.”

Next up is two different serums. Flores used the Pro-Heal Serum Advance+ to “calm inflammation and reduce redness, leaving the skin balanced with a natural, subtle glow,” then went in with the Hydra-Cool Serum. “As a little extra step for Hudson, who is constantly on the go and on planes, this serum is perfect for instant cooling and hydration,” she says, describing it as the “perfect little step before moisturizer.”

Which brings us right to the final skin care step to deliver “healthy, glowing skin that reads beautifully on the red carpet.” Flores went with the iS Clinical’s Daily Dynamic Hydrator, which she says is “the perfect daily moisturizer to hydrate and protect the skin with exosomes and peptides, while keeping the skin barrier healthy and supported.”

When it comes to red carpet makeup, Hudson Williams doesn’t need much. “For Hudson, his skin is almost to perfection with minimal pores, as you can see in his skin care video with The Cut,” she says. “But jokes aside, I usually do go in with a tinted moisturizer to keep a healthy sheen and real skin look, I would also add a tiny bit of concealer where needed. To finish, I do try to apply light mattifier around the T-zone to control oil without killing the glow. When you use less mattifier you can avoid the skin looking flat or overdone on the carpet.”
